Used when assembly in Canada is specifically verified, without implying the entire product was manufactured here.
Designed in Canada
Used only when the design claim itself is specifically supported. It does not mean the product was manufactured in Canada.
Canadian brand
A Canadian company or brand does not necessarily mean the product itself is made in Canada.
Origin not verified
Used when we do not have enough reliable evidence to classify the product. It is not a claim that the product is foreign-made.
When we can't verify it
Origin not verified.
That is a legitimate answer. We will not turn a maple leaf, Canadian company name or retailer listing into a Made in Canada claim without enough evidence.
Where possible, we'll identify the source of the origin information and when it was last checked.
