The watchlist · Canadian prices

Interesting prices.
Honest answers.

Some prices look promising before we have enough evidence to recommend buying. Worth Watching is where we explain what we’re checking and why “not enough data yet” is better than a made-up bargain.

What belongs here

A promising price is
the beginning, not the verdict.

01 · Current offer

A real Canadian listing

We need a working product page, a clear product identity and a current observed price where available. Regional stock, shipping and marketplace sellers matter.

02 · Fair comparison

The same product, not a lookalike

Model numbers, size, capacity, included accessories and condition need to match before prices can be compared fairly.

03 · Evidence over hype

Wait until the evidence is strong

An advertised “regular price” can be a clue, but it is not proof of a genuine bargain. We keep advertised savings separate from verified price history.

Kitchen & home

Appliances and essentials

Our research rotation includes kettles, air fryers, coffee makers, multicookers, vacuums, laundry supplies and other practical household purchases.

Technology

Useful tech, exact models

Headphones, earbuds, monitors, printers, chargers and storage devices are compared by model and specification—not by a vague product name alone.

Family & seasonal

Things Canadians shop for all year

Family products, toys, tools, outdoor gear, personal care and seasonal home needs rotate through research as time and reliable evidence allow.

Canadian origin

Origin checked separately

A product can be a good price without being made in Canada, and a Canadian-made product is not automatically a good deal. We keep those questions separate.

Current status

No invented watchlist
just to fill a page.

Products appear as researched watchlist records only after the required evidence has been collected. If this page or the homepage watchlist is empty, that means there are no products currently meeting the publication rules—not that every product is a bad buy.
